- Q:How do you remove the power brake booster for the 2005 Ford F-150? Posted by Customer
- A:Remove the nuts attaching the master cylinder to the booster and carefully pull the master cylinder forward without bending or kinking the brake lines. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the fitting on the power brake booster. If applicable, rotate the speed control deactivation switch counterclockwise to remove it and disconnect the pushrod from the upper end of the brake pedal. Remove the nuts attaching the booster to the firewall and lift the booster unit away from the firewall and out of the engine compartment.Posted by FordPartsGiant Specialist
