Press down and in, then twist the screwdriver clockwise to release the element from the retaining claw. Slide the blade element out of the retaining claws until the element is completely detached from the frame. To install the element, slide the metal backing strip into the retaining claws starting with the second claw from either end. Continue sliding the element up to the element stops, then secure the element by twisting the backing strip into the end claws. Make sure that all the claws are locked onto the metal backing strip before installing the blade on the wiper arm.
