Before starting any work, refer to the warnings given . To test the radiator cooling fan, first, check the relevant fuses and relays. To test the fan motor, unplug the electrical connector and connect the fan directly to the battery using fused jumper wires. If the fan still does not work, replace the motor. If the motor is functioning properly, the fault may lie in the cylinder head temperature sensor, the wiring loom, or the engine management system. To remove the cooling fan assembly, disconnect the negative battery cable, unplug the electrical connector(s), and release the wiring loom from the shroud. Unclip the shroud from its upper radiator mountings, lift the assembly to disengage it from its lower mountings, and withdraw the fan(s) and shroud from underneath the vehicle. The fan motor can be removed from the fan assembly by cutting off the plastic cable ties and removing the three mounting nuts. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure, ensuring proper placement and mounting of the fan and shroud.
