- Q:we have a 2005 Ford Ranger 4X4 XLT 4.0 V6 VIN # 1FTZR45E55PA88096. We are trying to order the Transfer Case Shift Control Module that is located inside truck behind the radio NOT the switch. The old part # on the module box is 4L54-7H473-AC. I understand there is a new part # on this per Ford,they gave us 1L54-7HH17-AE OR 1L5Z-7453-AC.
