How to replace the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor on Lincoln MKX?

The Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor is located on the driver's side of the cylinder head in four-cylinder models and between the cylinder banks in 2.7L V6 models. To replace it, remove the intake manifold, disconnect the electrical connector, and unscrew the old sensor. Install the new sensor and tighten it.
