About Lincoln Town Car

A full-sized luxury sedan introduced in 1981, the Lincoln Town car was one of the most established automotive nameplates in America. In 1996, Lincoln offered a special limited version of the Town Car known as the Cypress Edition. Its exterior Town Car body parts featured a Cypress Gold Frost paint job and a red Cypress tree badge, as well as two-toned leather interior. Between 1990 and 1997, the Town Car had a boxy and slab-sided appearance that belied more cutting-edge design elements. This generation of the Ford sedan had Lincoln Town Car auto parts like flush-mounted windows and carefully placed lights to give it an aerodynamic profile. The 1999 model added seat-mounted head and torso side airbags as a standard feature.
