- A:For 2010 and earlier models, install the wheel hub/bearing assembly onto the wheel knuckle, place the drive axle back through the knuckle into the hub, and loosely install new bolts and nuts into the lower arm, toe link, and lower shock mount. Raise the suspension with the floor jack if needed to align and install the upper arm bolt. Adjust the jack height to achieve the initial ride height measurement and torque the upper arm nut. Tighten the lower arm bolt, toe link bolt, and shock absorber lower nut to their specified torque. Reattach the stabilizer bar link and tighten the nut. Install the brake hose bracket, wheel speed sensor, brake disc, and brake caliper assembly. For all-wheel-drive models, secure the drive axle using the old wheel hub nut, then replace with new nuts and torque to specification.Posted by FordPartsGiant Specialist
